For more than 22 years, Dr. Rakesh Pathak has been obsessed with how structures behave—and how software can help us design them better. His journey spans research positions at Virginia Tech, engineering leadership roles at Bentley Systems, and cutting-edge generative modeling work at Higharc. After repeatedly building complex simulation engines inside large organizations, he realized the industry needed something radically different: a modern, cloud-native, AI-augmented structural design companion. That vision became Yisbot. As founder and principal, Rakesh brings together deep domain expertise, high-performance computing, and modern software engineering to unlock a new era of intelligent structural modeling, analysis, and design.
